The Hive was born from a dream that started within our own family.

Years ago, while raising their four children, Karri and John often wished for a safe place where their kids could play, explore, and simply be kids. They also understood how valuable trusted support could be when parents needed to work, run errands, attend appointments, or enjoy a date night.

For years, they dreamed of creating that place for other families.

As their children grew up and began starting families of their own, the dream became even more meaningful. The need Karri and John experienced as young parents was now being felt by the next generation.

What began as their dream soon became our entire family’s vision. Karri and John, their four children, and two of their children’s spouses built The Hive from the ground up. Each person brought something important to the process. The Hive would not exist without our family coming together to make it possible.

Now, with four grandchildren and another on the way, The Hive is truly being built for the next generation—both ours and yours.

We hope to give children a place they are excited to visit and parents a place they can trust. More than a family-owned business, The Hive is something our family created together with love and purpose.
